DAVENPORT, Iowa— St. Ambrose University will present “A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant, and A Prayer: Readings to Stop Violence Against Women and Girls” on March 30, 2012. This groundbreaking collection of writings is inspiring, funny, angry, heartfelt, tragic, and beautiful. But above all, together they create a true and profound portrait of how violence against women affects every one of us.
This is for mature audience only. The cost for the general public is $8 and only $5 for students. All proceeds will benefit Family Resources and women survivors of violence in Haiti. The program starts at 7p.m. at the Rogalski Center Ballroom at 518 West Locust Street in Davenport, Iowa.
