Police say a man wanted for battery to a child in Moline was captured in Davenport, Iowa.
Police said they were searching for Lateef Jackson, 29, after a four-year-old boy was taken to a local hospital, and later airlifted to Peoria, for treatment of bruises to his abdomen Wednesday, March 13, 2013.
The boy was reportedly left in Jackson’s care when he was restrained and repeatedly struck.
Police said they were still searching for Jackson several days after the incident.
Police said Jackson was arrested Monday afternoon, March 18, 2013 in Davenport.
Jackson was charged with aggravated battery to a child.
