Less than 24 hours after Davenport’s Casino Consultant, Gary Buettner, presented his analysis of the city’s top two possible casino developers, one of the developers is trying different ways to gain support for its plan. 

Jarred Gastreich, a professional videographer/photographer out of St. Louis, Missouri, uploaded a video (above) on Thursday, January 24th, 2013 entitled “Davenport Casino.” The video shows Restoration St. Louis’ Chairman of the Board, Amrit Gill and Chief Executive Officer, Amy Gill – along with downtown, Davenport business owners and community leaders – holding signs in support of a downtown casino.

Also yesterday, a page on Facebook was created entitled “Downtown Davenport Defense” along with a message from Amy Gill, stating – “Please join us as we try to save Downtown Davenport!” The page includes a link to Gastreich’s video, pictures of their casino proposal, and other pictures of the downtown Davenport area.
