DAVENPORT, Iowa – Forty dogs and 40 cats will not contribute to the pet overpopulation problem and will reduce the need for euthanasia, thanks to a $3,500 grant to the Humane Society of Scott County (HSSC) from Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation.

These furry friends need a fur-ever home

Rambo is ready to go home with you today!  This sweet 1 year old male chihuahua, shortcoat terrier mix has been waiting a long time for his fur-ever pet parent family.
 
Impala came to us as a stray and doesn't do well on a leash but would be the perfect companion for a household with children 10 years of age and older.  He's shy and may take awhile to warm up to you.  But this male apricot miniature...

We need Fur-Ever homes!

Emma is a young German Shepherd/Beagle mix who needs work on her manners and must be in a home with no younsters under 16.  She's got a lot of energy but with obedience training she will be a fantastic fur-ever companion!
 
Sniffles loves to snuggle and play and already knows how to sit!  This adorable little female beagle mix will make a great playmate for children 10 and older.
