Davenport’s Col Ballroom for sale

Davenport’s Col Ballroom is for sale and the owners are struggling to find a buyer.

The building’s price was cut $125,000 to $550,000.

The Col Ballroom, also known as the Coliseum, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It has hosted dances, events and concerts of nearly every musical genre for nearly 100 years.

A lack of community support and change in entertainment demand are among the reasons for the sale.
