Public forums address boundaries and budgets for Davenport Schools | Schools
Title (Max 100 Characters)
The first of six public forums on the proposed budget cuts and changes to school boundaries is planned for January 17.
The forums are an opportunity for district patrons and the public to offer input to district leaders who are reviewing proposed budget reductions and boundary changes for the 2013-2014 school year.
“We encourage parents and interested community members to attend any or all of these forums. The forums will provide an excellent opportunity to learn more about these proposals, ask questions, and offer input to the Superintendent and our Board Members,” said a statement on the district website.
The first public forum is at Buffalo Elementary School, 1000 Jefferson Street in Buffalo, Iowa. The forum is open from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2013.

Public Forum #2, Central High School auditorium, January 22 from 6-7:30 p.m.
Public Forum #3, Harrison Elementary School cafeteria, January 23 from 6-7:30 p.m.
