Applications for scholarships available now | Schools

DAVENPORT, Iowa--The Friendly House is offering three scholarships to local high school seniors. Ivory/Optimist Scholarship is for graduating seniors from the Davenport School District who are planning on attending a licensed or accredited trade/vocational school, college or university.

Micka Scholarship provides funds to nontraditional students, 21 years of age or older.

Mort and Tish Levy Educational Scholarship provides funds to a high school senior or individual over the age of 18 who is pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree, especially in technical or fine arts.

Applicants must have been a full-time resident of Davenport for at least three years to qualify. Applications are available at Davenport high schools, local colleges, Friendly House and www.friendlyhouseiowa.org. The deadline for application is April 1st.
